Hayden Guptill joins the RaceFit Athlete Team!

The team at RaceFit are excited to announce 21-year-old midget talent Hayden Guptill as one of our sponsored athletes for the upcoming season. Hayden runs the 91a Bullet/Esslinger BB7 out of Western Springs, Auckland. 

Hayden is coming into his tenth speedway season and is running a full New Zealand calendar with potential for some meetings in Australia. Hayden’s goals for the upcoming season include wanting to pick up a couple more wins, win the Western Springs points series and podium at the New Zealand Midget title.

This is what Hayden had to say about the 2019/20 season

“We’ve put in a big off season and are excited for the first practice. We’ve changed from a Esslinger RSI motor to a new Esslinger BB7. The new power plant has a bit more torque and power so, we are in a good place coming into this season. We also have a new crew member looking to learn a bit about the sport before transitioning into his own car, so that’s added to the BSL team environment. The morale at the team headquarters is high and we can’t wait to rip into it. We finished in the top 3 cars in New Zealand last year and we’re looking to improve on that “. 

Hayden has been training hard with one of our personal trainers on our premium subscription in the off season. He has gained muscle, stability and lost fat. Here’s what Hayden had to say;

“I’ve been working with Cody for a couple months now. It’s handy being able to catch up with him through FaceTime to go over any concerns or questions I have about my programming and nutrition. I’m in the best shape of my career and I’m super confident heading into this year. I can’t thank the whole RaceFit team enough for giving me this opportunity”.
