The RaceFit Athlete team has seen some early success in the New Zealand speedway season, beginning with the 91a Midget Driver Hayden Guptill piloting his Bullet/Esslinger BB7 to a 2nd place finish on the 16/11/19 at KihiKihi Speedway. This was followed on the 21/11/19 by RaceFit Sprintcar Driver taking the win at the second round of the Summer Slam series. Leversedge backed it up with a strong 3rd place finish at Western Springs for the North Island Sprintcar Championship on the 28/11/19. RaceFit athlete success was continued by Hayden Guptill with another strong 2nd place finish, this time at Western Springs on the 07/12/19.

The last Western Springs meeting also saw RaceFit Athlete Troy Pennington salvage some points after narrowly avoiding a major crash and only ending up with some steering damage. Troy said “My RaceFit training really came in handy when I had to muscle the car around after suffering a bent steering drag link”. Troy has battled early on this season but is looking strong coming into the big Christmas meetings.

In other news, the RaceFit team is pleased to announce the arrival of Kate Boyarinova to the Athlete team.

Kate is based in Eastern Europe and is competing in the European Autocross Championship next season. Kate is the first female in history to win the Russian Autocross Championship, she’s also a 2 x Master Sport Champion in Rally Cross, Moscow Champion in her Autocross class and placed second in the D2 Junior Class Russian Autocross Championship in 2017.

We are excited to diversify our services beyond the United States, New Zealand and Australia into Eastern Europe and can’t wait to see what we can achieve working with Kate.
